Dr. Amadeus the Lesser serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminology at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz. He conducts teaching activities and participates in scientific research and development work while actively engaging in academic conferences and publishing research results.
His educational background includes a law degree from the University of Lodz (2008), completion of legal counsel training, admission to the District Bar Council in Lodz, and a doctoral dissertation defended with distinction in 2020 under Professor Tomasz Grzegorczyk's supervision. His doctoral work focused on interlocutory appeals in pre-trial proceedings within Polish criminal law.
Dr. the Lesser's research concentrates on criminal proceedings, fiscal criminal law, and misdemeanor proceedings. His scholarly contributions include publications in prominent Polish legal journals such as Palestra, Przegląd Sądowy, and Prokuratura i Prawo, along with chapters in multi-author publications and conference presentations. He has also served as an editor for collaborative academic works and completed a basic mediator course.
His professional activities extend beyond academia, as evidenced by his admission to both the legal counsel and attorney lists at the District Bar Council in Lodz. Dr. the Lesser maintains regular office hours on Mondays from 09:00-10:30 in room 4.43 at Kopcińskiego 8/12 in Łódź.
