Since 2021, she has served as Professor, and as Director of the Laboratory of Applied Thermodynamics and Refrigeration Technology of Refrigerated Vehicles since 2022.
- PhD and postdoctoral research in thermodynamics at NTUA
- Specializes in refrigeration cycles, energy savings, and building energy design
Her research focuses on thermodynamic cycles, refrigeration systems, and energy-efficient building design, with over 87 peer-reviewed publications. She has organized sessions at ASME IMECE conferences (2014–2022) and received the Edward F. Obert Award (2022) and recognition for mentoring a team in the 2021 ASHRAE Student Design Competition.
Her work spans applied thermodynamics, heat transfer, and clean technologies, with contributions to international encyclopedias (UNESCO's EOLSS), textbook authorship, and leadership in energy policy. She serves on doctoral committees and supervises graduate theses, while also contributing to laboratory equipment donations (e.g., 5.5 kW heat pump setup, 2025).
