Papoutsis Efstratios

Papoutsis Efstratios is a Researcher at the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), holding this position since 2019. He earned a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from NTUA (2004-10), a Master’s in Energy Production and Management from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NTUA (2011-14), and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from NTUA with a thesis titled Thermodynamic analysis of adsorption refrigeration systems (2013-18).

His research focuses on thermodynamic systems and refrigeration technology, with a particular emphasis on energy efficiency and heat transfer mechanisms. He is affiliated with the Heat Engineering Department and contributes to projects related to industrial cooling and 3D thermal energy systems. Notably, his work aligns with recent initiatives at NTUA, including donations of heat pump laboratory setups and advancements in solar cooling systems.
