Dr. Iren Marinova is a DAAD Postdoctoral Fellow at the Henry A. Kissinger Center for Global Affairs within the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Her research focuses on transatlantic relations between the U.S. and EU, European security, and the historical development of European grand strategy. She holds a Ph.D. in political science from Colorado State University.
Marinova is a Global Fellow with the Wilson Center’s Global Europe Program and a member of the Younger Generation Leaders Network under the European Leadership Network (ELN), focusing on Euro-Atlantic security dialogue. Her work explores EU ambitions in global politics, foreign policy strategies, and climate diplomacy.
She contributed to a Carnegie Corporation-funded project analyzing U.S. foreign policy impacts at state and local levels. While no specific grants are listed, her fellowship and collaborative research highlight ongoing scholarly engagement.
