Ioannis BOURNAKIS is an Associate Professor of Economics at SKEMA Business School in Lille, France. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Kent (2008) and prior roles include Senior Lecturer at Middlesex University (2008–2021) and visiting positions at institutions like the American University in Cairo. His research focuses on macroeconomics, productivity, spillovers, international trade, and innovation, with notable contributions to understanding gender disparities in firm productivity, fiscal policy impacts, and FDI spillovers. He serves on editorial boards for International Economics and Economic Policy (Springer) and SAGE Publications.
