Inyoung Shin

Inyoung Shin is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Yale University since 2021. She holds a PhD in Communication from Rutgers University and bridges social scientific perspectives with computer science to explore how communication technologies reshape societal and civic behaviors. Her teaching focuses on training graduate students in computer science and STEM fields to critically assess the societal impacts of their technical work.
