Dr. Insu Frank Hahn serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry within Hampton University's School of Science, where he teaches Biochemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry courses. His academic journey spans institutions across three continents, reflecting a globally informed research perspective.
His educational foundation includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry (2003) from the University of Akron, an M.P.H. (1998) from the University of Massachusetts, and dual M.S. (1990) and B.S. (1988) degrees in Chemistry from Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea.
Hahn's research integrates advanced mass spectrometry with computational methods to investigate biomedical proteomics, lipidomics, and metabolomics. His work bridges natural product chemistry with disease mechanisms, particularly focusing on cancer therapeutics and neurodegenerative disorders.
