Dr. Ini Vanwesenbeeck is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication and Cognition, Tilburg School of Humanities and Digital Sciences, Tilburg University. Her research focuses on minors' interactions with persuasive media, particularly influencer marketing, children's digital media usage, and consumer behavior. She holds a PhD from Antwerp University (2016) and has led interdisciplinary projects like the VLAIO-SBO AdLit initiative. Her work addresses ethical concerns in digital communication, including children's privacy and the impact of social media influencers on health and well-being.
