Dr. Alexander Schouten is an Associate Professor of Business Communication & Digital Media at Tilburg University's Department of Communication and Cognition. His research focuses on the social consequences of online communication technologies, including influencer persuasion, online dating dynamics, virtual reality's impact on interaction, and digital privacy. He coordinates the Business Communication & Digital Media track and serves as NeFCA President and Cyberpsychology.eu's Associate Editor.
Education: Ph.D. in Communication Studies (University of Amsterdam), with expertise in quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Teaching includes courses on digital media, online collaboration, and communication theory.
