She has been affiliated with the university since 2002, contributing to studies on apraxia of speech, aphasic phonological disorders, and speech motor planning. Her work integrates neurophysiological and clinical approaches to understand speech production deficits and develop evidence-based therapies.
Education:
- PhD in Speech Pathology, University of Potsdam (2007)

She investigates how rhythmic entrainment and auditory priming can aid patients with Parkinson's disease and apraxia of speech.
Teaching: She leads seminars on apraxia diagnostics/therapy, aphasia management, and dyslexia/dysgraphia. Her pedagogical work emphasizes model-based clinical practice and evidence-based interventions.
