Associate Professor Ingo Köhler is affiliated with the Institute of Economic and Social History at Georg-August-University Göttingen. He has served as Head of the Hessian Business Archives in Darmstadt since 2021 and previously held roles at Humboldt University Berlin and the Georg-August University of Göttingen. His research focuses on intersections of economic and cultural history, marketing, family businesses, and global economics. Notable projects include studies on market research post-1945 and mid-century mass consumption. He has received awards for his work on corporate history and socio-economic structural breaks. Active in academic organizations, he contributes to the German Research Foundation and serves on the board of the Lower Saxony Business Archives Foundation.
