Anna Sailer is a labor historian at the Center for Modern Indian Studies (CeMIS), Georg August University of Göttingen. Her research bridges labor history and environmental history, focusing on colonial India. She is currently working on a project examining forest land appropriation in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, funded by the DfG long-term project 'Modern India in German Archives, 1706-1989' (MIDA).
