PD Dr. sc. nat. Ingmar Lehmann is a research assistant in the Didactics of Mathematics group at the Institute of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Holding the German post-doctoral degree of Privatdozent, he is qualified to lecture and supervise doctoral researchers while formally serving as a permanent academic staff member.
His scholarly work centres on mathematics education, encompassing the teaching and learning of mathematical reasoning, curriculum design, and the cognitive dimensions of problem solving. Through his affiliation with the Berlin didactics group he contributes to regional and national initiatives for enhancing school and university mathematics instruction.
