PD Dr. rer. nat. Mohsen Makki is a scientific collaborator at the Geographical Institute of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. His research focuses on soil science, urban soils, vertical farming systems, geoarchaeology, and geoecological challenges in rapidly growing cities. He leads the geomorphological-geological collection and serves as laboratory manager, coordinating the Soil Protection Discussion Group.
