Inge Graef is an Associate Professor of Competition Law at Tilburg University, serving as Vice Dean for Research at Tilburg Law School and Director of the Tilburg Graduate Law School. She is affiliated with the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT) and the Tilburg Law and Economics Center (TILEC). Her research focuses on competition law, platform regulation, and governance of data-driven innovation, with an interdisciplinary approach combining law, economics, and technology.
- Education: PhD in Law from KU Leuven (CiTiP), Master's degrees from Maastricht and Nijmegen Universities.
- Career Highlights: Former Research Director of TILT (2022–2024), member of the EU Observatory on the Online Platform Economy's expert group (2018–2023), and co-chair of the Digital Clearinghouse (2019–2021).
Research Interests: Interaction between competition law and digital regulation, data protection, consumer law, and institutional enforcement mechanisms. Active in policy advising for EU institutions, OECD, and national governments.
Current Projects: Principal Investigator for the INCA Horizon Europe project (2022–2026) and leads the legal component of the AI4POL project (2025–2027). Editor of Journal of Competition Law & Economics and TechReg.
