Ing-Mari Dohrn

Ing-Mari Dohrn is an Assistant Senior Lecturer (Docent) at Karolinska Institutet's Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society, affiliated with the Division of Physiotherapy. A registered physiotherapist with clinical background in primary healthcare, she leads research on physical activity measurement, sedentary behavior, and health outcomes in aging populations. She serves as chair of the Swedish Professionals Association for Physical Activity (YFA) and edits national physical activity guidelines (FYSS/eFYSS).

Her research employs accelerometry to investigate relationships between physical activity patterns and health outcomes, with specific focus on:
