Professor Imelda Maher is the Sutherland Full Professor of European Law and Director of the UCD Dublin European Institute at University College Dublin's Sutherland School of Law. She previously served as Dean of Law from September 2017 to September 2021 and was the Academic Director for the UCD Sutherland School of Law building project which opened in 2013. Professor Maher has held academic positions at prestigious institutions including the London School of Economics, Australian National University, Birkbeck College, and Warwick University.
