Igor Popov is a Professor at the Faculty of Control Systems and Robotics, ITMO University, and Head of the Department of Higher Mathematics since 1997. He earned his DSc degree and has been affiliated with ITMO University since 1978, serving in roles such as Assistant (1978–86), Associate Professor (1986–96), and Professor (1996–97).
