Igor Lyubashenko is a political scientist and professor at SWPS University, affiliated with the Faculty of Social Sciences in Warsaw and the Department of Politics and Public Policies. He serves as Head of the Department and is associated with the Institute of Social Sciences, the Center for the Study of Democracy, and the Center for Design and Evaluation of Public Policies.
His research focuses on transitional justice, political development in post-authoritarian societies, and qualitative research methodologies, particularly Qualitative Comparative Analysis and Process-Tracing. He explores how societies address legacies of conflict and authoritarianism, with a regional emphasis on post-communist countries like Ukraine and Poland.
