Ian Bruce

Professor Ian Bruce is Chair of Rheumatology at the University of Manchester and Director of the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre. A leading lupus researcher, he focuses on cardiovascular complications in autoimmune diseases and long-term outcomes in SLE and RA. He leads international studies including the BILAG Biologics Register and MASTERPLANS Consortium.
