Iulia Codruţa BRAN

Iulia Codruța BRAN is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Biological Sciences, Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava, Romania, since 2021. She has also served as a Lecturer at the Department of Health and Human Development, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, University of Suceava (2020–2021), teaching semeiology, pathophysiology, and clinical pharmacology. Her research focuses on Musculoskeletal Pain, Accelerated Atherosclerosis in SLE/RA, Systemic Sclerosis, and Biological Therapy in rheumatic disorders.

• Education: Doctor of Medicine in 2013 (thesis: “Accelerated atherosclerosis in systemic lupus erythematosus”), Master’s in “Diseases with immune determinism” (2008), and medical license (2006).

Research Trends: Her published work emphasizes TNF inhibitors, subclinical atherosclerosis in autoimmune diseases, bone mineral density in rheumatic conditions, and biomarker development for disease severity. She contributes to EUSTAR international projects on systemic sclerosis and biological therapy outcomes.
