Hugh Waters

Hugh Waters is a Senior Lecturer in Organisation Studies at the University of the West of England's Faculty of Business and Law. He leads undergraduate modules on Managing Organisational Change and Enterprise & Entrepreneurship, and participates in curriculum enhancement initiatives.

• Education: BSc, MRes (with Distinction), PhD from University of Exeter Business School (Centre for Leadership Studies)

His research focuses on leadership development, organisational change, and identity work, particularly examining public service mutuals and action-focused research. Recent projects include talent management development in the public sector across the UK and Ireland.

Hugh's publications explore organisational transformation, identity formation processes, and leadership frameworks through action research methodologies. His work intersects with qualitative research and public sector innovation.
