معرفی
Dr. Hue Dang is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Adelaide's School of Agriculture, Food and Wine under the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology. She holds a PhD in plant/weed science and has extensive experience in crop improvement, plant breeding, and herbicide resistance research. Her current projects, funded by the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC), focus on barley and soybean breeding to enhance agricultural productivity.
Previously, she worked as a Research Officer at Vietnam's Field Crop Research Institute, improving potato and sweet potato yields through best management practices and plant breeding. She later contributed to crop research planning and international cooperation in the Department of Crop Production. Her research spans herbicide resistance mechanisms in weeds like Sisymbrium orientale, genetic inheritance patterns, and economic impacts of seed quality on smallholder farmers in Vietnam.
Key research interests include plant breeding strategies, weed science, and applying new technologies to improve crop efficiency. Her publications explore herbicide resistance mechanisms, fitness costs of mutations, and agronomic practices in crops like barley and soybean.
