Howard Glanton is an Adjunct Professor of guitar studies at multiple institutions including Bethel College, Hesston College, Tabor College, Sterling College, Friends University, Wichita State University, and Pittsburg State University. He holds a Master of Music Performance from Texas Tech University (1994) and a Bachelor of Music Performance from Eastern New Mexico University (1990).
His performances include solo engagements across the USA, Europe, South America, and Mexico. He co-founded the Anglo/Caribbean Guitar Duo with Excier Rodriguez in 1995, touring extensively and recording two albums. Collaborating with his daughter Kaleigh Glanton—a classical guitarist and singer-songwriter featured on 'The Voice'—he has expanded his musical reach.
In 2018, Howard performed at the 50th anniversary of the Kansas/Paraguay Partners of the Americas in Wichita and Paraguay. His work emphasizes cross-cultural musical exchange through chamber music and solo performances.
