Howard B Degenholtz is a Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health, Department of Health Policy and Management. He serves as a Faculty Affiliate of the Center for Bioethics and Health Law and was the Founding Director of the Doctoral Program in Health Services Research and Policy.
His research focuses on:
- Long-term care and aging
- Bioethics
- Organ donation
- Health policy evaluation
He leads a seven-year evaluation of Pennsylvania's Community HealthChoices program and holds editorial roles at key journals, including Social Media Editor of The Gerontologist and Associate Editor for LTSS in Innovation in Aging.
