معرفی
Christine E Bishop is a Professor of Health Economics at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University. Her research integrates microeconomics with health policy, focusing on long-term services and supports (LTSS), Medicare post-acute care, and labor markets in health services. She examines provider and recipient behavior, including costs, production efficiency, payment mechanisms, and utilization patterns in nursing homes and home health services.
Her work emphasizes policy-related questions in health services supply, demand, and financing, informed by her training as a labor economist and early research on nursing labor markets. She has led evaluations of healthcare delivery system innovations and conducted econometric analyses using national survey data, administrative datasets, and project-specific collections.
