Kevin W McConeghy is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of the Practice at Brown University's School of Public Health in the Department of Health Services, Policy and Practice. He holds a PharmD from the University of Rhode Island (2010), an MS in Clinical and Translational Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago (2014), and a PhD from Brown University (2023). His research focuses on health services and outcomes related to medication safety, antimicrobial use, and vaccination strategies in acute and long-term care settings. Current projects include evaluating high-dose influenza vaccines in nursing homes, non-traditional outcomes of influenza illness (e.g., hip fractures), and antimicrobial stewardship interventions in nursing facilities.
