Dr. Elizabeth M White is an Assistant Professor of Health Services, Policy & Practice at Brown University School of Public Health. She holds dual affiliations with the Center for Gerontology and Healthcare Research and the Center for Long-term Care Quality and Innovation. A board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, she combines clinical expertise with research focusing on older adults, particularly those with dementia and residing in nursing homes. Her work examines healthcare delivery systems, nursing home staffing challenges, and pandemic response strategies.
Education: PhD in Nursing from University of Pennsylvania (2018), followed by postdoctoral training at Brown University’s Center for Gerontology and Healthcare Research (2018–2020). Licenses include Advanced Practice Registered Nurse certification in Rhode Island since 2018.
