Amy DeGurian

Amy DeGurian is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the School of Social Work, University of Pittsburgh, specializing in grief and loss, health care, hospice, and gerontology. She has been a full-time member of the Practicum Education Department since 2013.

• Teaches Generalist Social Work Practice and Grief and Loss in the graduate program.
• Research focuses on clinical and programmatic aspects of social work in healthcare and gerontological settings.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
• Master of Social Work (MSW) from University of Pittsburgh (1994).
