Amy Zlimen Ticho is a Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP), serving since 2001. She chairs the Department of Sociology and Social Work, directs the BSW program, and oversees the upcoming Master of Social Work program. As a hospice social worker, she integrates professional practice into courses like Death, Dying, Loss, and Grief, and MSW Foundation Practicum Seminars.

Her research focuses on death, dying, hospice care, and family conflict during end-of-life scenarios.
