Hongming Cheng is a Full Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Saskatchewan. Specializing in criminology, socio-legal studies, and comparative law, his research focuses on crimes of the powerful, policing dynamics, gender-based violence, and sociolegal systems in China and Canada. He holds an LL.M. from Birmingham Law School (UK) and a Ph.D. in Criminology from Simon Fraser University.
