Hong Yang is a Professor of Environmental Science at the University of Reading, UK. He serves as Programme Director for the BSc GIS/Human and Physical Geography and BSc Environmental Engineering joint programmes with Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST), China. His roles include postgraduate research supervision, teaching in environmental science and geography, and leading research in air/water pollution, carbon cycle dynamics, climate change, and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). He co-chairs the University BAME Network and leads multiple interdisciplinary research projects funded by UK Research Councils and international organizations.
