معرفی
Dr. Hong-Erh Liang is a Professor in the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), specializing in allergic immunologic diseases. His research focuses on innate immunity, type 2 immune responses, and the role of cytokines and immune cells in inflammation. He holds a PhD, MS, and BS, with postdoctoral training at UCSF Graduate Division.
Education: Postdoctoral Studies at UCSF Graduate Division.
Research interests include the mechanisms of allergic diseases, innate lymphoid cells (ILCs), type 2 immunity pathways, and immune regulation in inflammatory conditions. His work often explores interactions between immune cells and their microenvironments, particularly in contexts like allergic responses, intestinal physiology, and cancer immunotherapy.
Key collaborations include projects with Dr. Richard M. Locksley and others, investigating topics such as ILC2 activation, tuft cell signaling, and the role of chitin in immunity. His studies span murine models, cell engineering, and translational research.
