Helen Popper is a Professor of Economics at the Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University. She holds roles as Associate Dean, former Faculty Director of Graduate and Undergraduate Business Programs, and former Chair of the Department of Economics. Her expertise spans international economics, finance, and applied data analysis with a focus on foreign exchange risk, monetary policy, and political economy dynamics. She has served as a Fellow at the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research and held visiting positions at institutions including UC Berkeley and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
