Heidi Wechtler

Dr. Heidi Wechtler is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of School (Research Training) at the Newcastle Business School, University of Newcastle. Her research focuses on human resources management, international business, and organizational behavior, with a particular emphasis on expatriation, migrant integration, and leadership dynamics. She holds a PhD from Macquarie University and a Master’s in Applied Economics and Statistics from Université Evry Val d'Essonne in France.

She supervises 14 PhD students, focusing on topics like sustainable business models and green HRM in multinational enterprises. Her awards include the 2019 International Management Division Best Paper Award and commendations for Equity, Diversity, and Wellbeing from the University of Newcastle.
