Dr. Heidi Wechtler is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of School (Research Training) at the Newcastle Business School, University of Newcastle. Her research focuses on human resources management, international business, and organizational behavior, with a particular emphasis on expatriation, migrant integration, and leadership dynamics. She holds a PhD from Macquarie University and a Master’s in Applied Economics and Statistics from Université Evry Val d'Essonne in France.

Her awards include the 2019 International Management Division Best Paper Award and commendations for Equity, Diversity, and Wellbeing from the University of Newcastle.
