Hector Lozada-Vega is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Director of the Institute for International Business at Seton Hall University's Stillman School of Business. He joined the university in 1996 and holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Kentucky (1990), an MBA from Xavier University (1985), and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Puerto Rico (1980).
His research focuses on market research, marketing strategies, and global business dynamics, with a strong emphasis on international trade policy, legal frameworks, and cross-border investment. His work has been published in journals such as Global Journal of Politics and Law Research, International Journal of Humanities and Social Science, and Journal of Business Cases and Applications.
Lozada-Vega has consistently received awards for both research and teaching from the Stillman School of Business, including multiple Research Achievement and Teaching Achievement Awards. His academic service includes roles such as Chair of the Graduate Education Policy Committee and membership in university-wide committees like the Rank & Tenure Committee and the University Senate Program Review Committee. He has also contributed to media discussions on topics like tariffs and global business strategies.
His notable courses include Global Business, Marketing Metrics, and Consumer Behavior. He actively collaborates with colleagues on presentations addressing topics such as FDI in Poland, legal aspects of medical devices, and the impact of net neutrality repeal.
