Gary Kritz is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Seton Hall University's Stillman School of Business, Department of Marketing. He holds a PhD from Indiana University and has been active in academic leadership roles including membership in committees such as the Academic Facilities Committee and the Marketing Advisory Board. His research focuses on consumer behavior, advertising management, net neutrality, and generational cohort analysis.
Education includes a PhD in Marketing (Indiana University, 1997), MBA in Marketing & Finance (San Jose State University, 1987), and a BA in Radio-TV-Film & Accounting (Temple University, 1983). He has received notable awards like the Academy of Marketing Science Distinguished Teacher Award (2008) and the Hormel Meritorious Teaching Award (2012).
Research interests span regulatory policy impacts on marketing (e.g., medical devices, net neutrality), generational analysis, and educational pedagogy. Recent work includes comparative studies on medical device regulation between Poland and the U.S., and legal aspects of gender equity in sports.
Professional service includes roles as session chair for the Academy of Business Research and reviewer for major marketing journals. Teaching specialties include Principles of Marketing and Advertising Management courses.
