Hebert Palomino is a Professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling at Gardner-Webb University’s School of Divinity. He holds a Ph.D. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has extensive international experience, including 25 years as a Baptist missionary in Peru and Paraguay. His roles include teaching, pastoral work, and clinical pastoral education.

His work emphasizes missionary care, training Hispanic missionaries in the Americas, and authoring books in Spanish on counseling and pastoral care.
Professional Contributions: Led a heart transplant team at Baptist Hospital in Paraguay, advised missionaries through the International Mission Board, and developed counseling programs in Cuba, Colombia, and Chile.
