Dr. Heather Tacovsky serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Counseling at Georgian Court University's School of Arts, Sciences, and Education, with office hours available by appointment during summer at Farley Center 112.
Her academic credentials include:
- B.A. in Psychology from Albright College (magna cum laude)
- M.A. in School Psychology and CAGS in School Psychology from Georgian Court University
- Psy.D. in School Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
Research focuses on neuropsychological evaluation frameworks, executive function interventions in educational settings, and resilience-building strategies for children with behavioral disorders. Her work integrates clinical practice with teacher training and early childhood literacy development, emphasizing school-based applications for neurodiverse learners.
Dr. Tacovsky actively mentors students as the G-SPAN/NASP Student Leader Advisor, supporting professional development in school psychology.
