Leslie M. Chaundy

Leslie M. Chaundy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at Kutztown University. She holds a Psy.D. in School Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, an MSW from Marywood University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Wesley College. Her expertise spans over 20 years in mental health, specializing in children, adolescents, families, and adults across agencies, schools, hospitals, and private practices.

Dr. Chaundy’s research focuses on school social work, educational challenges for children, and integrating spirituality into social work practice. She presented nationally at conferences and published a dissertation on adolescent self-regulation linked to religious beliefs. Her teaching includes Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Social Work Practice, and electives like Crisis Intervention and Maltreatment in the Family.

She maintains professional memberships with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), and American Board of School Neuropsychologists (ABSNP). Her clinical certifications include LCSW, NCSP, and ABSNP Diplomate status.
