Dr. Heather Robinson is a Lecturer in the Health Research Department at the University of Lancaster's Faculty of Health and Medicine. She specializes in online mental health forums, carer support systems, and interventions for individuals affected by baby loss. Her research employs realist methodology and mixed methods, with a recent emphasis on understanding moderator roles in online communities.
Current projects include the Improving Peer Online Forums (iPOF) initiative and studies on peer support mechanisms for baby loss. She has contributed to consultancy work on psychosis and bipolar disorder education through Health Education England.
