Professor Heather Hartwell is a UK-registered nutritionist and academic at Bournemouth University, where she holds a Professorial position. Her work focuses on public health nutrition, food security, and sustainable food systems, with a particular emphasis on integrating academic research into practical solutions for healthier communities. She has led major EU-funded projects like VeggiEAT and Veg+, collaborating with institutions across Europe to promote vegetable consumption among diverse populations.
Research Interests: Heather’s research adopts a 'whole systems' approach, combining consumer behavior, nutrition, business practices, and environmental sustainability.
