Hayder Al-Aubaidy is an Associate Professor and Discipline Head of Anatomy at La Trobe University's Department of Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology & Pharmacology. His research focuses on diabetes prevention, nutraceutical interventions, and cardiovascular biomarkers. He has over 70 peer-reviewed publications and collaborates nationally/internationally. Al-Aubaidy holds a PhD in Clinical Biochemistry from Al-Nahrain University and has taught anatomy at multiple institutions.
Education: PhD (Clinical Biochemistry, Al-Nahrain University), MSc (Clinical Biochemistry, Al-Nahrain), MBChB (Medicine, Al-Nahrain). He has led courses like Human Biosciences and pioneered flipped classroom anatomy teaching methods. His work spans diabetes biomarkers, anti-inflammatory agents, and drug delivery systems.
Research highlights include citrus bioflavonoid studies, atherosclerosis modulation, and miRNA-based cancer biomarkers.
