Dr. Hayden Lewis serves as an Adjunct Professor at Vanderbilt University while holding a leadership position as a special education coach at an elementary school in Nashville. In her school role, she supervises a team of six special education professionals, manages schoolwide data and intervention systems for all grade levels, oversees reading intervention programs for teachers, and tracks student growth and remediation progress.
Her academic credentials include a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Olivet Nazarene University with a dissertation focused on special education leadership, and a Master of Education (MEd) in Special Education from Vanderbilt University earned in 2018. Her Ed.D. program involved cohort-based learning with professionals across diverse fields including healthcare, law enforcement, and education administration.
Dr. Lewis specializes in translating educational leadership theory into practical school applications, with research interests centered on special education implementation, learning disability interventions, and data-driven decision-making.
