Alice Patterson

Alice Patterson serves as Associate Professor of Graduate Education and Director of the Ed.D. program at Trevecca Nazarene University. With doctoral training from Vanderbilt University's Peabody College, her expertise spans reading intervention strategies, anchored instruction methodologies, and content-area literacy development. She previously taught middle school grades in Nashville Public Schools and contributed to Tennessee's Reading First initiative.

Her academic work focuses on curriculum design for strategic learning and new teacher development. She has served as accreditation reviewer for educational institutions and maintains adjunct appointments at multiple universities.
