Dr. Hauke Dorsch is a researcher at the Department of Anthropology and African Studies (ifeas) at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. He serves as Director of the African Music Archives (AMA) and co-convenes the Anthropology of Music Lecture Series and Master Class. His work bridges Western and Southern Africa, Cuba, the USA, and Germany, focusing on diasporic cultural flows and musical practices.
