Hartmut Höll

Hartmut Höll is a Professor at the Karlsruhe University of Music, where he has held roles including Rector (2007–2022). He is a renowned pianist specializing in Lied accompaniment, collaborating with artists like Renée Fleming and Mitsuko Shirai. His career spans over four decades, with notable professorships in Frankfurt, Cologne, Helsinki, and Salzburg, and master classes globally.

Education: Studied piano in Stuttgart with Paul Buck and Konrad Richter, influenced by Leonard Hokanson. Notable collaborations include decades-long partnerships with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and Mitsuko Shirai, forming the Liedduo concept.
