Professor Harold Hongju Koh is the Sterling Professor of International Law at Yale Law School. He served as the Dean of Yale Law School from 2004 to 2009 and as the Legal Adviser to the U.S. Department of State from 2009 to 2013. He holds multiple honorary degrees and has been a visiting scholar at institutions like Oxford University and Cambridge University. His research focuses on international law, human rights, national security, and the intersection of law and U.S. foreign policy.
