Hans van Duijn is a Full Professor of Applied Analysis in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research focuses on differential equations, porous media flow, and biomedical applications. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from Leiden University and has held visiting positions at institutions including the University of Minnesota and Bonn University. He is Editor-in-Chief of Computational Geosciences and a member of editorial boards for Interfaces and Free Boundaries and Transport in Porous Media. Since 2005, he has served as Chancellor of TU/e.
