Hannah Meyer

Hannah Meyer is Assistant Professor at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and Cancer Center member. Her research uses systems immunology approaches to study T cell education in the thymus, combining experimental techniques with computational models to understand selection mechanisms that prevent autoimmunity.

Her work has revealed differences in human versus mouse innate-like T cell maturation and identified cystatin C as a biomarker for cancer immunotherapy failure. Meyer received the 2021 UK Biobank Early Career Researcher award for genetic studies of heart function.
